To order a Heroes tile, please submit a photograph (it can be a photo of the Hero in uniform or a current photo, any picture you want is fine) and whatever information you would like on the tile. For example, the tile could include any or all of this information; name, rank, years of service, wars fought, awards, metals, special recognitions, locations served, years lived (if passed) or anything special you would like your Hero to be remembered for. Keep in mind, the more text you include the smaller the photo will have to be. Once this information is submitted we will provide you a proof for approval before the tile is created.

Where is the Wall located?
The wall is on the lawn at Volk Packaging at 11 Morin Street, Biddeford, Maine. The wall is open to the public 24/7 – 365 days a year. All are welcome to visit at any time, day or night.
How Large is the Wall?
The Wall is a two sided, 50’ long by 7’ tall. Each tile is 8.5” by 11”.
How many tiles can the Wall hold?
The wall will hold 700 Veteran tiles.
How much is a tile?
- Individual Tile: $150
- Sponor a Veteran Tile: $150
- Corporate Sponsor Tile: $500
- Wall Sponsor: $2,500
What is the difference between the tile options?
- Individual tiles are the tiles that feature a hero.
- Corporate Sponsor tiles are for companies who want to support and be featured on the wall. Corporate Sponsors can feature their company’s logo and/or a special message. This sponsorship puts an 8.5″ x 11″ tile, permanently, along the top row of the wall. There are a limited number of these tiles available.
- Wall Sponor sponors a 10’ section of the wall. As of 1/2021 we have 2 available Wall Sponosor sections left. Wall Sponsors have (4) 8.5”x11” tiles to feature their company and/or a special message. This sponsorship puts your company name, permanently, along the entire top of the wall that will honor 70 soldiers and sailors.
- Sponsor a Veteran tile is a part of our scholarship program. For $150 you can ensure that a Veteran will be honored. Your name or company name will be featured on the bottom of the tile stating “This tile was generously donated by (insert name).”
I want to honor a hero, but I cannot afford a tile. Can I still have a tile made?
Thanks to the generous support of the local business community and individuals we offer a “tile scholarship.” Submit your information and check off the box marked “Scholarship Requested.” We cannot complete all scholarship tiles immediately but over time we hope to fill every request.
How often do the tiles go on the wall?
Tiles are adheared to the wall from May to October, weather dependent. It must be at least 55 degress for 24 hours in order for the tile to properly adhere to the wall.
How will I know when the next tile hanging will be?
